FAQ

What is SiliNOT! ?

All SiliNOT! products are produced from food safe ingredients, the same ones you eat daily! Our formulas are 100% Non-Toxic and Plastic Free.

How many times can I really remelt your SiliNOT!

You can remelt it 30 times. In reality, with proper care by following the heating instructions, you can remelt it hundreds of times. There is nothing hindering the remelt process except over heating, if you exceed 200F too many times it will deactivate the setting agent and won't set up properly.

If it melts at 150F, how do I cast higher temperature setting materials.

For higher temp. casting, we recommend first putting the SiliNOT! mold in the fridge or freezer. Allow it to chill completely, SiliNOT! won't freeze or become brittle when cold, it will be the same strength and flex. Once it's cold, then start casting with it. For smaller or thinner molds, this may not be needed as the heat the casting material generates just isn't enough to melt the SiliNOT! but for thicker castings, try that method. And remember, if you make a mold and it doesn't work, you can always remelt and try again :)

Does it cure against 3D Printed Resin?

Yes! Unlike some silicones, SiliNOT! doesn't experience cure inhibition against any material.
