SiliNOT! Form is available in .5 lb, 1 lb, 2 lb, 3 lb, 4 lb, 5 lb, package sizes to support different mold volumes and production workflows. Larger package sizes provide a lower cost per pound due to reduced packaging and handling overhead.

SiliNOT! Form is measured by weight, but volume is easy to estimate: one pound of material equals approximately 12.7 cubic inches during use. To determine how much you need, calculate the volume of the object or mold box you plan to fill and match it to the equivalent liquid volume. This allows accurate sizing for both small molds and large production runs.

SiliNOT! Form has a softening point of approximately 110°F (43°C), at which the material becomes pliable and ready to shape by hand. For best results, work with Form within a controlled temperature range of 90–140°F (32–60°C), where it can be pressed around objects and into textured surfaces for detailed impression capture. Allow the finished mold to cool completely before removing the original or beginning to cast. Do not exceed 150°F (65°C).

Form is compatible with a wide range of mold positives, including 3D-printed PLA, PETG, ABS, and cured resin prints, as well as clay, wood, metal, glass, stone, silicone, rubber, and most cured, sealed, or painted surfaces. Its soft, hand-formable consistency makes it ideal for pressing around small objects, reproducing components, and capturing patterns or surface textures without pouring or constructing a mold box.

As a casting mold, Form works well with low-temperature, low-exotherm materials such as plaster, gypsum, wax, soap, and many craft casting compounds. Epoxy and polyurethane resins may also be used when their pouring and curing temperatures remain below Form’s softening range. Always verify material compatibility and temperature before casting.

SiliNOT! Form releases cleanly from most smooth, nonporous surfaces, but a mold release is recommended for porous materials, complex shapes, and deep undercuts. Food-safe oils or a light cooking spray can be used for food-contact projects, while a thin layer of petroleum jelly works well for non-food applications. Apply only a light, even coating to help the object separate cleanly without affecting surface detail. Corn starch also works extremely well.

SiliNOT! Form can be softened using a microwave, double boiler, hot water bath, or oven, depending on your setup and the amount being heated. Each method allows controlled, gradual heating until the material becomes soft and pliable enough to shape by hand. Form should never become gooey or liquid. SiliNOT! Form is designed to balance firmness and flexibility, allowing finished molds to bend and flex for easier demolding while retaining the captured shape and surface detail. Once cooled, it forms a durable Shore A 40 mold that resists cracking and crumbling through repeated casting cycles. This combination of flexibility and dimensional stability makes Form well suited for detailed impressions, textured surfaces, and objects with moderate undercuts.

Store SiliNOT! Form in its sealed container in a cool, dry environment to prevent contamination and protect its surface quality. Clean the material by allowing any residue to cool, then physically remove dust, debris, or casting residue by hand. Avoid washing or soaking Form in water, as absorbed moisture may affect its texture and performance. Spills should be allowed to cool and firm completely before being lifted or scraped away.

SiliNOT! Form is made from non-toxic, food-grade ingredients derived from rice, citrus, and soy. It contains no xylitol and is not Kosher, Vegan, or Halal. When used as directed, Form is suitable for studios and home workspaces.

Always use care when heating. Overheated Form can cause burns and should never be handled when gooey or nearly liquid. Use heat-safe containers and tools, heat gradually, and check the temperature before direct skin contact. If the material feels too hot to handle safely, allow it to cool until it becomes comfortably soft and pliable.
